If you did not already know, Kennesaw State is the 3rd largest University in Georgia, it’s also one of the largest 50 public universities in the U.S., and was named among 298 national universities by U.S. News. 2. Division 1 Football Team
Kennesaw Stat Universities football team debuted in fall 2015. Playing in the Big South Conference the Owls have racked up many victories and impressive stats. The football team plays out of Fifth Third Bank Stadium, this state of the art stadium features 8,300 seats, 12 luxury suites, 12 outdoor suites decks and a floor capacity that can accommodate an additional 8,000 fans. This new endeavor has helped to keep the Kennesaw state community active and involved for the past 2 fall seasons.

Kennesaw State's Dining hall is very Uncommon; It has been recognized as one of the best dining halls across the United States. It started as a farm-to-campus plan, where students are able try an array of foods across nine platforms. They offer global dishes as well as comfort foods, a salad bar, fresh-made pizza, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, soups, a fresh hummus bar, stir-fry, and American food such as burgers and fries. The 54,000-square foot facility feeds more than 30,000 people a week. Everything is prepared in small batches to ensure the freshest possible meal to guests and menus change daily, offering students a variety of options.
4. Merger with Southern Polytechnic State University
Double the campuses, double the opportunities! Kennesaw State now has 2 locations, one which used to be Southern Polytechnic State University, a very well-known technical college that focused primarily on engineering, engineering technology and architecture the programs.
